I have never had Cuban food before, and this food was so delicious! My friends and I ordered their plate of appetizers and it was relatively inexpensive split across the three of us and tasted so good! The desserts were amazing as well! We had the flan, tres leche, and rice pudding and loved all of them. The atmosphere was very welcoming and cozy

My wife and I really enjoyed the food here. We are not experts in Cuban food, so I can't state it is authentic, but it sure seems so. When you sit down, they serve you plantains with two dipping sauces, which was a great starter! I do love a good Cubano, and so I ordered one here. The bread was fantastic, unlike most Cubanos I have had in the past, so I suspect this is how the bread should be made. The sauce was a bit overdone, limiting the balance, but the sandwich was messy and yummy. My wife had the Monday special, which was ground beef, white rice with black beans, and cassava with mojo. The cassava with this mojo was to die for! It was like bacon but better. Never had cassava before; it is a root much like a potato, and I ate half of my wife's portion. We had a Guava-Mango and Coconut-Mango drink, both of which were delicious. Great service. This is a hidden jewel, but don't let the neighborhood or the exterior appearance stop you from trying the great food here.

We are so happy we went here! The food was so delicious and fresh. They brought a little appetizer of plantain chips with two sauces which was amazing. That green sauce is so yummy. Once we ordered the chef even came out to get our order right and then again after it was made to make sure we liked the food. My husband got a meat and black bean dish and I got shrimp fajitas. The black beans were so good as well as the shrimp fajitas. The sides were all just perfect and we ended up eating all our leftovers by the evening time. We got espresso as well which was so so so so so delicious. I had gotten one and then once my husband tasted it, he ordered one too. The employees were so warming and nice. We tried to practice our Spanish with them and they were so patient and informative. Overall 10/10. Will go back again.

This was a really nice dining experience. The food was authentic and very well prepared. The roast pork melted in mouth. The sweet plantains were perfectly fried with that little bit of carnelized crunch. Black beans and rice was delicious. I also had some Cuban coffee to round out my meal. Definitely recommend this Cuban restaurant. The service was friendly and polite.

We drove four hours just to eat here after hearing how amazing the food was—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Everything was incredible! The flan was the best I’ve ever had. The music and atmosphere were great, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back.

I was craving a Cuban sandwich and when Google suggested this restaurant I had to try it. The Cuban was different of what I am accustomed however it was well seasoned and tasted good. Then they offered me a cafecito. Oh my goodness! That was delicious and it woke me up. The staff was very friendly and when they realized I was Boricua they were even more friendly. I am going back for papas rellenas . Puerto Rico y Cuba dos alas del mismo ave. ¡Viva ambas islas Libres!

Four of us came at lunchtime and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, server was excellent and very attentive, and the chef even came out to talk to us and give recommendations. I had the Wed special, which was braised pork. There was also fried plantains, smoked pork chop, braised beef chunks, and one of their sandwiches (see photos). My pork was delicious, but I have to go back to get a sandwich. It looked amazing!! If you haven’t been here, you need to go. Cuban is not spicy. It is seasoned well and marinated. It was my first time having it and I was nervous it would be spicy. Can’t wait to go back again!
